Our Staff Adam J. Frieder, DDS Dr. Frieder has been a general dentist in the Frederick area for nearly 20 years. The doctor treats patients with a vast array of general and cosmetic dental needs and concerns. Since 1996, he has served as Chief of Dental Services at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Dr. Frieder has served as President of the Washington chapter of Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity. He also has the honor of serving as President of the Frederick County Dental Society for the second time. Over the last 20 years, Dr. Frieder has held various Maryland State Dental Association positions and is a respected member within the dental community. Dr. Frieder grew up in Gaithersburg, MD. He is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. He completed a general practice residency in Washington, D.C. Continuing Education is a priority for Dr. Frieder. He continues to update his education in order to stay current with all the latest dental procedures and innovations. He has recently completed a prestigious post-graduate fellowship in cosmetic dentistry at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Frieder is truly passionate about his career and loves sharing his knowledge by working as a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He also finds time to volunteer at various area nursing homes. He believes in giving back to the community. When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Frieder enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Together, the family enjoys many activities such as skiing and bowling. Dr. Frieder admits that he has quite a love for basketball...GO TERPS!!!! Dr. Keyla Torres In February, 2010, Dr. Frieder and staff welcomed Dr. Torres to the practice. As a graduate from the University of Maryland, Dr. Torres brings her expertise as a specialist in the field of periodontics to our practice. Our patients have found if very beneficial to have a specialist located within the practice. Gum treatment, crown lengthening , and the placement of implants can be easily completed without the patients having to commute to a different location for their treatment. Georgene - Office Manager Georgene, better known as George, is the office manager for Dr. Frieder. She has been with the practice for over 6 years. George and her family returned to Maryland after spending several years in Michigan, Missouri, and Texas. George has worked in many dental practices in all three states over the past 20 years. During this time, she has witnessed many changes in the field. Many new and exciting procedures have been developed to make the dental experience more efficient and pleasant for patients, George is please to say that Dr. Frieder has implemented many of these procedures into the practice. George would be happy to hear from you and to answer any questions you may have about some of these procedures or the practice in general. If you have a concern about your dental coverage. Danielle - Registered Dental Hygienist, BS An active member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, Danielle returned to her hometown of Frederick to practice dental hygiene after graduating from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, Dental School with a Bachelor of Science degree, Summa cum Laude, in Dental Hygiene. Danielle is passionate about dental hygiene and truly enjoys working with her patients. In order to better serve her patients, Danielle is committed to continually educating herself in the ever-changing dental field through CE courses and hands-on experience. She firmly believes that no one should be afraid or ashamed to smile, and is dedicated to ensuring that her patients can smile with confidence. Professional Mission Statement: “It is my purpose to assist my patients in achieving their individual optimal oral health and thereby enhance their overall quality of life.” In addition to her professional interest, Danielle serves her church by leading worship and playing the organ and piano every Sunday. Her favorite thing is spending time with her husband and two young children. Teresa Teresa joined our practice in October, 2009. She comes to us with 25 years experience as a certified dental assistant. Teresa received her degree from the Medix School in Towson, Maryland. She currently resides in Pennsylvania with her husband and son. Her interest includes playing with her two dogs, camping, and spending time with her family. Along with her many activities, Teresa is in training and will be adding “Paramedic” to her many talents and joining her husband as a volunteer in her community. Tasha While attending Kaplan College, Tasha worked with our practice as an extern. After receiving her degree, she joined our team full time. Tasha feels she has “the best of both worlds” since she not only assists Dr. Frieder but also helps George with the administration part of the practice. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her beautiful twin daughters. Her passion is watching football and singing in her church choir.
