Comprehensive Oral Evaluation
A thorough evaluation of the entire mouth, including the teeth, gums, jaw joint, through clinical examination and examination of a full set of xrays. This would include the evaluation and recording of the patient’s dental and medical history and a general health assessment. It may typically include the evaluation and recording of dental caries (cavities), missing or unerupted teeth, restorations (fillings), occlusal relationships, periodontal conditions (gums), hard and soft tissue anomalies, etc. Generally, this exam is performed as an initial exam for a new patient.
